Ideathon is a brainstorming event that will engage students in forming ideas and solutions to predefined problems and moving forward, inspiring innovation. The main objective is to give the students other options other than looking for a job. We want to give the students an option where they can create jobs for others as well. We equip you with the skills and knowledge to improve your business accuracy and help you to run your business smoothly. We also prepare you to train to manage your own business with confidence, and in fact, you can start it even with zero capital or no office spaces.
Each aspiring entrepreneur needs to simply join the event, be there as a stranger, and challenge to win. The highest number of polls will be chosen as CEO’s. Once selected as CEO’s, they will be given 15 minutes to find their other co-founders. These co-founders must be skilled and fit to your need to get the appropriate value from every time you spend. The event lasts for three consecutive days to plan and execute the problem that needs a solution given to them. During the event, they will be given mentors from different industries to help them implement the appropriate process.
On the last day of Ideathon, student-entrepreneurs will pitch their business ideas to a selected panel of judges. The pitching competition consists of battles within chosen CEO’s and their teams. Pitching involves with the live audience and partners or investors that if they caught your business idea interesting will be invested.The group with the most viable idea will receive 10,000 pesos cash and 50,000 pesos seed fund. There are six sessions that every student can choose from since not everyone is actually interested in one particular topic, so we made it very diverse for everyone to really learn from the industry expert. The event discusses how to develop and implement business plans which have major influences not only on their personal interest, but on the overall competitive performance, profitability and efficiency of their personality.
